Materials Matter specializes in procuring material donations of brand new and salvaged building and home improvement materials, as well as in pooling nonprofit purchasing power to negotiate bulk-rates for incredible cost savings. Through the Community Chest Program, we make those materials available to nonprofit organizations. Your organization could save money if it:

Who Can Join?
Any NonProfit Organization is eligible to join the Community Chest Program. Simply fill out an application to verify your 501(c)(3) status, and start saving today!

What Are The Benefits?
Membership in the Community Chest Program provides you with:

• 20% off all stock in the Materials Matter Home Improvement Outlet on every purchase, every day. The Outlet sells brand new home improvement merchandise for 50%-80% off retail prices.
• Access to all the materials and product on the Community Chest Listings, our guide to the Gifts-In-Kind and Bulk-Purchased products in our Donations and Distribution warehouse.
• The opportunity to apply for special materials acquisition assistance for upcoming building projects and facilities improvements. We can help you get the materials you need donated or discounted.

Are There Any Costs?
The annual membership for joining the Community Chest Program is $100 for agencies designated as 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. Some Community Chest products include handling fees. We are committed to providing nonprofits with a variety of building and home improvement products at a fraction fo the retail cost.
